Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab at 1st sign of acute anginal attack, may be repeated approx every 5 min until relief is obtained.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Early MI w/ right ventricular involvement, obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pronounced hypovolemia, severe anemia, cardiac tamponade, increased ICP.
Special Precautions
Not recommended in phenylketorunics. Pregnancy & lactation.
Adverse Reactions
Flushing of face, dizziness, tachycardia, throbbing headache, vomiting, restlessness, blurred vision, hypotension, syncope.
Drug Interactions
Hypotension w/ alcohol. Additive hypotensive effects w/ antihypertensives, β-adrenergic blockers, phenothiazines. Sildenafil.
